Some complaints about the traffic noise from the main road, thin towels in the bathroom, and a slippery floor after showers could detract from the stay, even if it’s manageable. there were limited dining options within walking distance, which necessitated driving for meals, and the lack of certain toiletries like shower gel could improve the amenities.

Had a fantastic stay with friends! The guesthouse is a great base for exploring the area, especially with South Lakes Safari Zoo and Lakeside & Haverthwaite Railway nearby. The hosts were super helpful with tips on places to visit, and the breakfast was definitely a highlight. Recommend trying the local pub for dinner too!
One little hiccup was the slippery bathroom floor, which could use a bath mat for safety. Not a big deal, but definitely something to be careful about after a shower.
